libuniversal-isa-perl software package provides safer version of UNIVERSAL::isa, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libuniversal-isa-perl
libuniversal-isa-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libuniversal-isa-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libuniversal-isa-perl *
You will get with libuniversal-isa-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
